For the safety, comfort, and cleanliness of all pets in our care, we require owners to notify us if their dog is in heat at the time of booking. Dogs in heat can experience increased stress during grooming, and their presence may also cause heightened anxiety or behavioral changes in other dogs in the salon. Due to the additional time, sanitation, and care required to maintain a safe environment, a $25 sanitation fee will be applied to all appointments involving dogs in heat. Failure to disclose this information in advance may result in rescheduling or additional charges.

We require owners to inform us in advance if their dog has a history of aggressive or reactive behavior. Depending on the severity, additional handling time, specialized techniques, and safety precautions may be required. A minimum of $25 handling fee will be applied for aggressive or reactive dogs. In some cases, services may be modified, stopped or rescheduled if we determine that it is unsafe to continue. You will be charged full price even if services are stopped or rescheduled. 

We require that owners inform us if their dog has difficulty standing, is overweight, or requires additional support during grooming. Pets that are unable or unwilling to stand for extended periods, that require two groomers for safe handling, may experience increased stress and require additional time and care. A minimum of $15 handling fee will be applied in these cases to account for the extra labor and support needed. In some situations, services may be modified or discontinued if we determine it is not safe or humane to proceed. 

We require owners to inform us in advance of any medical conditions, including but not limited to blindness, respiratory issues, mobility limitations, seizures, or other health concerns. Pets with medical conditions may be more sensitive to the grooming process. A $20 fee will be added to accommodate the additional time, attention and precautions required. In some cases, we may recommend veterinary grooming or may need to modify or discontinue services if we feel it is not safe to proceed.
